2006 Sterling Acterra Single Axle Dump/Chipper Truck 260 HP Mercedes Diesel Engine, 6 speed manual transmission Under CDL, 25,500 GVWR, Air Brakes, Ox Bodies 18' Steel "Trash Body" with Custom Top for Chipping, Swinging Barn Door Tailgate, Air Operated PTO for Bed Hoist, Twin Telescoping Bed Lift Cylinders, 22.5" Steel Wheels, 11R22.5 Tires Air Ride Driver's Seat, Bench Passenger Seat with underseat Storage, Vinyl Seat Fabric, Vinyl Flooring, Manual Windows with Wing Vents, Air Conditioning (not sure if working, heat works great), Cruise Control, AM/FM Radio This truck was owned by a Pittsburgh area tree service company and was traded in at a new truck dealership. It runs and drives very well with no known mechanical issues. We installed 2 new batteries and new wiper blades. The PA inspection sticker is valid until the end of March 2025. The truck will run 70+ MPH and has good power. The oil pressure is strong when cold, hot and the coolant temp stays around 180 degrees. The bed has a solid floor and sides but a few of the crossmembers and the outer part of the bed are showing rust - see pictures.
